The Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (APACRS) along with the Ahmedabad Ophthalmological Society and All Gujarat Ophthalmological Society are delighted to extend a warm welcome to the 37th annual meeting of the APACRS meeting to be held in the city of Ahmedabad (Gandhinagar), India, from August 21 to 23, 2025.
The unique feature of the APACRS meeting has always been its cutting-edge program in the field of cataract and refractive surgery. I can proudly say that the annual meeting of the APACRS has become a hub for world-class, practical teaching, along with offering opportunities to network with colleagues and friends from ophthalmology as well as the industry. The camaraderie and friendship that we gained during the meeting are priceless. The theme for this year’s meeting “Learning from the Masters” could not be more appropriate.
Through its masterclasses, symposia, and well-curated scientific sessions, the meeting will give you just what you need to boost your cataract and refractive practice.
With the supporting societies, we are all very excited to host this meeting back in India after a gap of 11 years. Ahmedabad, one of the prominent cultural and industrial hubs of India, offers colourful landscapes, unique culinary delights and the famous garba dance. I sincerely invite you all to attend the meeting and we promise to make this a scientific and cultural experience you will not forget easily.
